Here's our favorite recipe for fresh herbs and Shrimp!

         GRILLED HERB SHRIMP

2 lbs. large shrimp
3 cloves garlic, minced
4 green onions chopped
1/4 C. Minced fresh parsley
1/4 C. Minced fresh basil
1 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. dijon mustard
2 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1/4 C. good olive oil
1 lemon, juiced

Combine all ingredients and allow to marinate for
1 hour at room temperature or cover and refrigerate
for up to 2 days.

Skewer shrimp (or use a grilling basket) Heat grill,
brush grill with oil. Grill shrimp for 1 1/2 minutes
on each side.

 

Here's another recipe for our

           wonderful Basils -

                PESTO

2 cups fresh basil,

1 cup oil,

3 tbls pine nuts - toasted,

1 cup Romano cheese,

5 cloves of garlic,

Add to Food Processor, adding oil last.

Good for 1 pound of Pesto, and great as a dip.
